repeat

i was told half of the last entry came up in squares so here it is again

I didn't mention that when I walked into the K3B classroom, Michael and Martin (the children at the meal) were telling their teacher how good I was at drinking alcohol. Ever so slightly embarassing. This week has flown by. I went for a wander on Monday evening, as I was feeling the symptons of cabin fever. On we went to order some photographs which resulted in getting a macdonalds. We were helping to correct some work done by the students and one peice was titled "my foreign teachers" it was an interesting read. It described Izzie as short and "a little bit fat" and me as tall and i have 2 on my face. 2 of what I will never know. Of course we are both beautiful and the girl raved about how wonderful we are.. it was rather sweet.
Unfortunately, Izzie's great aunt died on Tuesday night so she was very upset when she found out yesterday. The funeral is on staurday so Ithink we will have our own sort of memorial service, wake kind of thing since she is unable to go home for the actual funeral. She stayed in her roomwith her newly received chocolate from home and I had a one-on-one chinese lesson. I was practising with a student and i asked what his chinese name was and it sounded like the chinese word for spoon so from now on he is garfield/hugo/spoon. We are having a test so I shall be practising. Izzie went to collect her photos and we got ambushed by students on their way to bed all wanting to look trhough them. They love seeing photos of us, although we did have to remove the ones of us covered in mud because although we are wearing swim suits, you can't tell! We wouldn;t want to corrupt any young monds now so out they came. Following this I had an arguement with a student. He thought iwas very rich, which of course i wam not earning just 150 punds a month. I ws impressed that he managed to hold an arguement and was as bold to say "I don;t believe you!" the cheeky monkey.
We have started on the playscript with P6 and have assigned all of the parts. There was an arguement over some of the parts because no-one wanted to be the prince or ciderella or snow white. I also upset one student. he was down to play doper (virtually no lines) but his english is rather good and he is the tallest in his class, so I swapped him with a a shy student whose english skills are less than impressive. The poor boy was heartbrokem and desperately wanted to be a dwarf. all of his freidns (also playing dwarves but all considerably shorter) rushed over yelling "i chnge with him he dwarf i change!" it's good to have such caring friends, and the boy has his way and shall be playing sneezey. It was endearing to see how the boys were so determined to make sure that thier friend was happy!
